Elisa Hansen is a SFF author and YouTube video essayist. As her alter-ego, The Maven of the Eventide, she produces the humorously analytical webseries, Vampire Reviews, which examines the evolution of vampire tropes and social allegories in media and pop culture through a feminist lens. Born and raised in Southern California, she lived fifteen years in NYC, where she graduated with a BA from Pace University’s Musical Theatre program, before settling in Charlotte, NC. When she’s not YouTubing or writing books, you can find her at CBR Mensa events or hosting a local speculative fiction book club.
